Product Version | 0.910 (Now With Fewer Bugs)
Summary | 0017514: Add a way on act I to relieve corpses and trash.
Description | All bugs aside, they should decompose or be buried after a while leaving more space on the trash dump/cemetary. Those buildings should have a small garbage/corpse removal effect cause right now I have to depend exclusively on the leveling up system to provide more capacity as my city grows. Or just add an inefficient early building to recycle/destroy those.

Balance may very well be off (probably is), but in general that feeling of "ugh I have to have more places to build trash heaps and/or cemeteries and that stuff never goes away" is something I am looking for. How much of a factor that is may be grossly off, don't get me wrong. But that whole later upgrade to being able to burn stuff is meant to be a notable upgrade, and in the meantime the temptation to just dump stuff on other AIs is definitely supposed to be high, heh. I think it's more of a balance problem than a mechanic one in this specific instance, in any case. |
I can't tell how long act I is supposed to last, but in my second game I had no issues for space and trash since I'm playing skylaxians and not krolin so the x4 bug was very nasty on my previous save that I based this report on and I didn't expand and got boxed in. If the international actions are fixed then I'm golden. |
I think the balance is fine for the most part. Krolins can have issues with it, but I think that's rather the point. I think it is also important to have something that pushes you into advancing acts, instead of holding off as long as possible to make sure you have a billion extra crowns and thousands of spare citizens to rocket through the next acts. |
Yeah, the Krolin in particular were the big problem. How long act 1 lasts is a bit of a subjective question because that depends a lot on playstyle. I would think on average it's just a few hundred turns at most, or 80 on the low end. |
