Description | I've noticed that in a three-player game, three waves would spawn for one of the AIs; however, all three waves will consist of three beachheads for each planet if it triggers. Theoretically this means if there were 8 planets or 8 HWs, there would be eight waves all with beachheads, and with eight of them spawning in each of the waves. | ||||

Beachheads don't scale like that, I had three appear in a wave when playing with only one HW. Since it was the first wave and came with 80 bombers that was an instant game over... |

Yes, this is correct on both. Normally they scale with multiple players, as Spikey notes, but also on the higher difficulties I think you can get multiple beachheads even in solo, as KDR notes. |
