Description | But we all know broken when we see it. Yes, this is the resulting run from Invader issue I posted. Starting at Floor 5, I suggest you just play it and see what the heck it is that is going on (and in general, have fun doing it). I think it has to do with the Reactive Blast Module and some weird interactions. *** Not for the weak of PC *** (Continuing the legend of melting CPUs) | ||||

Thanks! * Fixed an issue with the Banshees being able to fire its reactive shots 5 times a second, which was way too much. Now it's every 1.5 seconds. The alternative melted a few CPUs. ;) |

In the ss those shots are mine. It was fairly reliable after taking damage (I even melted a floor boss with it) |

OVERKILL bonus!!!! that's what it's name was... lol Something about that and the flame thrower. I could nuke that one enemy that is frontally immune and cause a bloom of shots. It was weird but fun (and broken). Something in the way the bonuses were acting. I've got the reactive mod on in my current run and it isn't doing it. So this is attempt two at sleuthing it out. |

Whew, got it for real this time. Thanks! * Fixed a bad interaction between the flamethrower and the overkiller perk: it would spawn just unholy numbers of shots. ** Further fixed a bad interaction between overkiller and vindictive perks where it would spawn shots off of the scenery, adding to potentially thousands of shots running around like popcorn. |

That sounds like what was going on. Incredibly fun, but had to go. |

I'm a bit confused. Was this performance thing not due to the Banshee then? If so I'd prefer to be able to put him back the way he was. |

The banshee was overdoing it even so, though. He doesn't have to be as infrequent as what I made him now, but maybe 0.6 seconds rather than 0.2? That can create sooo much spam. I dunno, he was always really interesting... I'm torn. If you want him back to 0.2, that's fine I think. |
