Yes, this is intentional. The teleporter creates a shockwave similar to that used by bosses, except that it is short range and lasts for two seconds. The idea is, you wont just teleport directly into enemy fire; you have some time to react and get ready... but you cannot fire at THEM either (so, you cant exploit it). You can get into position, and then fight from there. I do think the tutorial should explain this and some other room objects, so that these smaller mechanics arent confusing, but yeah, that's how it works. No bugs there as far as I know! |
