Actually, there are three (kindof). Normal planet view, minimap view, and galaxy view. The map button allows you to choose minimap and galaxy view when on a planet. |

it does? I never noticed the minimap one.. Not that i use it incredibly much anyway >.> (nor the button, incidentally) |

Yep, it's a 3-state, which is why we changed it to a dropdown instead of a toggle. I think double-clicking takes you straight through, but I could be wrong. But obviously TAB is the preferred way to switch fast. |
