Summary | 0018730: Shots Inherit Momentum...in the test room only?
Description | SVN build test I added <modifier target="Self" type="SystemShotsInheritEntityMomentum" /> to the Energy Shield Module so that the shots travel along with the player, which seems to work, but only in the test room. In-game it doesn't seem to work for some reason. Not sure what's up. Test room entity: <entity type="EnergyShieldModule" category="ItemPickup" offset_from_center="-100,0"/>

Were you moving when you tried it in game? |
|
Yeah. Sprinting, too. Can you confirm the issue? Note: you need to update the configuration folder as I only put the momentum code in for the Energy Shield Module recently. |
|
I've worked it out...I think. I thought I could just make a change to the code, adding the SystemShotsInheritEntityMomentum and then loading up a save game. But apparently, you have need to start a new run for this new modifier effect to work. Just created a new save game, and things are working correctly. |
