Summary | 0019023: Game seems to look in any .txt file in AIWar2/GameData/Configuration/PlanetNames
Description | I put my old altplanetnames.txt file into AIWar2/GameData/Configuration/PlanetNames as a reminder to add those to KDL_PlanetNames.txt, but AI War 2 detected and started using all my old planets automatically. I'm not sure if this is deliberate or not, but I let you know in case it was unintended. I think this might be more of a feature than a bug. PS What does "KDL" mean in all those file names?

Yep, that's intentional. That's why all those directories are directories instead of single files. Anything in them gets read as the same datatype. KDL = my initials. CMP is on a few files, and = Chris's initials. Basically it's just a quick "who created this file" designation, in case someone on the team has questions about whether/how to do a particular edit. |
