Yeah, for some reason the default behaviour was changed. You can change it back by editing ~/AIWar2/GameData/Configuration/ExternalVisualConstants/CMP_VisualConstants.xml and replacing the line scroll_handler_dll="AIWarExternalVisualizationCode" scroll_handler_type="Arcen.AIW2.ExternalVisualization.DefaultScrollHandler" with scroll_handler_dll="AIWarExternalVisualizationCode" scroll_handler_type="Arcen.AIW2.ExternalVisualization.ChrisAlternateScrollHandler" I don't know why Keith changed it back to Default. |

I personally much prefer ChrisAlternateScrollHandler |

Is this something that we can change in game? Keith, if you give me some vague instructions for how to do this (if it's possible) I'll take a stab at it. |

In an ideal world we can have a few different ways of setting this up via dropdowns in settings. I can make a few different curves for this that we can toggle on or off depending on settings, if desired. |

* The game now supports having different types of "zoom handlers" for the galaxy map and main planet view. These can now be chosen in the settings menu from a dropdown. ** It's also possible for modders to create new ones, and we've got two in there by default at the moment. ** The default for the planet view has changed to the "Deep Angles" (formerly "ChrisAlternateScrollHandler"), whereas the default for the galaxy map is remaining "Flat Strategic" for now.
