| Description | Yes, technically I said that docks should assign to group one. However, scouts are generally treated differently, and I wouldn't expect them to join my combat fleet. I think they shouldn't be assigned to groups when created. | ||||

I always have a space dock reserved for scouts. I think giving scouts unique behaviour with regard to rallying is guaranteed to confuse people |

For normal scouts this workaround works, but for scout (sentry) starships this is a problem because you can only have one starship dock on a planet so you have to constantly switch the group rally on and off. Or produce them on different planets. |

This can be implemented by adding a check box in the options. "Don't add scouts and sentries to control group from dock." Or, "Override dock control group assignment for scouts and sentries." |
