Description | allow the dyson sphere faction to go on the attack! an idea on how it could work would be if you (or other minor factions like marauder/nanocaust) have a certain strength threshold, then nearby dyson sphere units will commit to attacking. however, dyson won't help on deep strikes. | ||||

Also, can it's defensive capability be buffed some? Even when it has a full stock of units on its planet, it folds quickly to even small reconquest waves (and in fact don't seem to be able to block the command station from being placed). Admittedly this was only on intensity 6. |

I gave the Dyson some small buffs in .816 |

The Dyson Sphere is intended to be primarily a defensive ally, not offensive. If you want to get offensive value out of it, hack it for its ship type. I did make a change to allow the Dyson Sphere to free itself if it gets reconquered by the AI. |
