| Description | This would be a LOT of data, so I'm thinking that a tooltip would not work. I think that we need a special hotkey for "click this fleet ship and see a full fleet rundown with all the ship info for each ship type in it." This would also be something that we could do for guard posts, waves, and so on. With a note in the tooltips showing "click this unit while holding X button in order to see a super-detailed breakdown of all its ships." I think that this would solve a whole lot of issues for a whole lot of people with both enemy and neutral stuff. This would be really nice. I was at a spot in a game where I could potentially claim 5 flagships with only fleetships in them, and had a specific need I was trying to fill (tankiness) in my forces, and had no idea which fleet would give me what I was looking for without reading the XML. |

Thanks! * "Toggle Stop-To-Shoot" is no longer bound to the "C" key. Instead, that is now bound to K. * The "C" is now used as a new keybind called "Hold And Click To View Details Of Contents" ** Hold this key down when clicking a button or a ship in order to view the details of any ships contained within that clicked item (ships in a wave, ships in a transport, ships in a fleet, ships improved by a tech). ** This is SUPER important for finding out what the actual stats are of ships that otherwise would just be a list of names. * The selection logic for the galaxy map view has been moved into the external open-source code, and will soon be able to be a lot more flexible like people have been asking for. ** Previously it was embedded in a way that made those other bits impossible, but no longer! * The new "Details Of Multiple Ship Lines" screen is able to be shown for ships that you C-click directly, or on the sidebar, or on the galaxy map. ** But only if they actually have something of relevance to show! ** Right now it shows the details of ships that a GCA or ARS would grant, that are part of a fleet that you could capture but have not yet, or which are inside an AI reinforcement point (guard post), or which are being transported inside a fleet. |
