Description | I think it would be cool if warp gates were the AI's means of capturing salvage for reprisal waves--and killing the warp gate prevented the AI from collecting salvage on the planet This would make warp gates even a more compelling destructible in it's own right and it would also make certain unavoidable grinds as punishing as they already are | ||||

That would be cool, but salvage is actually in the process of being removed, as are reprisal-waves-as-we-know-them. A whole new mechanic for counterattacks from AIs is being implemented instead. These are more planet-local, but there is some thought that a global counterattack style might also be useful at some point. If we implement the global counterattack style later on, then please do remind me about the warp gate thing if I forget, because this would actually be perfect for that. |
