Summary | 0021415: One of my fleet flagship cannot move during hack | ||||
Description | I have a save file, in which one flagship cannot move when I start a hack. Other fleets can move, and normal ships in that particular fleet can also move, but not the centerpiece. I have tested that I can reproduce this every time in this save file. Immediately after hack is started, the centerpiece stops moving, until the hack is completed. How to reproduce: Open my save file. Go to planet "XFA". Start hacking Spire Archive OR Coordinator. Fleet number 4 centerpiece can't move. | ||||

This is working as designed; your flagship is doing the hack, and hackers can't move while the hack is in progress. |

because that flagship is doing the hack. That's not a bug I'm pretty sure that's intended. What is odd is I don't know if you choose which one does the hack. |

What if we just make them unable to leave the planet, aka can't go through wormholes? That would solve the main problem of the hacker needing to stay in place, while not being as confusing as this. Easy workaround, hopefully? |

That would be better. It also would be nice if the game would show a notification "Cannot leave the planet while hacking" or something when trying to go through wormhole. |

Chris, that sounds like a good compromise. I'll get that set up and have the hovertext say "Cannot leave planet while hacking" sometime in the next few days, unless you want to tackle it yourself on a shorter timeline. |

Fixed! Units that are hacking can now move but cannot go through wormholes, and the entity hovertext will tell you that your unit is hacking. |
