Summary0002161: Auto Scouting
DescriptionThe silliness little problem happens sometimes when you have a group of scouts and tell them to auto scout in a system with several wormholes. They split up into several groups for each wormhole, but sometimes when they jump they pop into the wormhole and instantly come right back out, thus not scouting the system on the other side.

I do not know if it was caused by the system on the other side being a dead end, I will try to recreate it in my current game.

On another note, group move auto scouting would be an interesting function as it would help survivability of the scouts. Plus the player would not have to use pause button when the scouts get in system and manually direct all scouts to the next system.

YES to the group auto-scout!!! It would make scout star-ships much more useful.

Anyways, when you see a scout go into a system and immediately leave right after, they still get the scout intel on that planet. So that is not a problem.

By group move, do you mean in the regular sense? (maintain lowest common speed)?

I would like to see scouts auto-scout *as* a group, because as small sub-groups they don't get past planets which a little bit of manual clicking will do. It would be great if they would follow the same path, to optimize a scout for its mark level.
