Summary0021627: Repeated load/unload commands can apparently cause units to fire far faster
DescriptionMentioned by overzot on Steam.

"1) When I unload my transport fleets, my strikecraft & frigates get an immediate shot at everything in range. However, I've found that I can crank the game speed down, then manipulate the load and unload commands to replicate the strike. I'm having a hard time confirming, but it seems like this bypasses the default cooldown time between shots. Is that expected behavior?"

I think just having the Classic behaviour of "if exited a Transport, full reload time" would get that? As well as being able to just hop around in said Transport, unloading and one-salvoing Guard Posts.

Might be a Fleet Experience bonus there.

Howdy, I'm the reporter from Steam. I'm still having trouble determining exactly how many of the ships are firing, so assistance with confirming if this is all ships or a certain subset would be appreciated.

The suggestion to require "full reload time" feels a bit hefty. Specifically, I'm pretty sure this would nullify the ability to get special combat bonuses for ship types that have to be on the planet (or target something on the planet) for less than X seconds. Also, how would this fit in with ships just being built? Given that ships are built at the fleet centerpiece now, this makes tanks useful for assaults on heavy worlds. If they have to wait 17 seconds and thus never get their special secondary shot, their value would seem to go down significantly for the players.

Probably fixed with the reload delay on unloading.
