Summary | 0022133: AIW2 Quality of life suggestions
Description | 1) For force fields, an 'anchor' toggle that, when enabled, will cause them to automatically move back towards their previous position should they be displaced by a ship with the Norris effect, and a setting to enable this behavior automatically I just think it would be nice to have force fields move themselves back to where i placed them after a train or Devourer has pushed them aside. 2) An option to highlight the border of planet maps. The asteroids arent always immediately visible against many backgrounds 3) A keybound toggle to show direct lines between each wormhole on a planet. A tool to assist in placing defences for greatest possible coverage of pathways invading ships are likely to take.

I'm very confused by 0000003. How would having the game draw straight lines on the map for you help? |

Being able to see the direct lines between each wormhole would be a massive help for placing short range turrets, tractors, gravity generators and mines where theyre most likely to catch invading units in an overlapping field of fire with a bloc of long range turrets Granted a tool like this isnt a requirement for placing turrets like this but it would help me keep track of where i want things to be particularly on maps where wormholes are widely spaced apart. |
