Description | No idea if this is a bug or not, but as I can't find an explanation anywhere, the bug might be a lack of easily accessible documentation. My ship caps seem to vary a lot. I read something about fleet caps combining, but haven't found any concrete explanation. Past that, the numbers aren't 2x or 3x, but large ratios instead. I assumed it was different tier levels, but that isn't it either. What causes this, is it a bug, and if not, how does it work, and how can I use the mechanic to my advantage? https://imgur.com/a/LvYasFO | ||||

Ship caps differing between fleets is discussed by Chris here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/573410/discussions/0/1637549649102395105/ In short, the game is a lot more boring if all the ship cap numbers are the same. Having some fleets be Stronger and others Weaker is part of what happens when you procedurally generate things in an interesting fashion. |
