Description | Low energy bonus overlaps with Grenades. Making them actually good at killing something also causes them to do the Grenades job. Nothing in mind right now, making this so others can add on. | ||||

Speaking as someone that didn't play AIWC and feels no need to stay true to the original concept: When I think of eyebot, I think of a ship that's basically built entirely around a big laser. So, the first thing that I think of is a fusion beam (ie pierces targets in a line) with paralyze and a very long reload. Would synergise with the cloak too, since cloaks are a bit underwhelming due to not energizing with their weapons. |

Strikecraft can't have beams - too many of them, performance issue. |

Stealth detection? There's a serious lack of combat units with the ability to detect stealth in general and it seems to go along with the 'eye' concept. |

Sentinel Gunboats and Rangers (in particular) do that. It's also pretty trivial to just have a Combat Sentry Frigate. |

Could they deal more damage based on the max Cloaking value of targets? An extremely potent killer of stealth, compared to just detection. |

Possibly that. Ablative Gatlings unfortunately do a lot of that, as 0.7 albedo (which Gatlings like) is a common theme for cloaked units. Making Eyebots essentially a Nucleophilic strikecraft seems to be somewhat popular. |

* Replaced Eyebots damage bonus. They now gain more damage based on how much energy the target uses. The higher the energy consumption, the more damage. |
