Description | Noting here as reminder and for others to input. Cloaking has had some negative comments. Both in that it's weak for the AI, and also not very useful for the player. Appears to be both that units don't do much damage before cloak wears off, and that it's drained too quickly by detectors (also makes better detectors not all that useful). Cloaked units also tend to be fragile, and with cloak wearing off so quickly they just don't really do well. So: 1): Cloaked unit damage up, fire rate down. More damage in the 5 shots before being revealed. 2): Cloaking points go up and/or decloaking rate goes down. Takes longer to reveal the units, and better detectors are notable. 3): Revealer Battlestation to be very strong (possibly more so than right now) at it. 4): Tachyon Arrays to be stronger than Sentry Frigates, creating an actual difference beyond simply being cheap. 5): Possibly: Cloaked unit cost for AI probably needs increased if this is done. | ||||
