| Description | I was trying out the beta, but at some point decided to return to the current version, by selecting the option to opt out of all betas on steam. Afterwards, when I booted up the game I found that my settings were reset to the default and my profile was gone completely, with it wanting me to make a new one. Returned back to the beta, my profile and games were back, but the settings were still reset, I assume that if I opted out again the same thing would happen. Not sure what caused the bug, but it seems like it could cause major problems in the future. After a bit more testing, the same seems to happen when switching from the current beta to most recent stable, or from one beta to another. A bit more testing, appears that though the profile is gone, the saves remain accessible if you create a new profile. | ||||

This bug is one I reported a month ago, not sure why it is appearing again now. |

By appearing, I mean appearing as recently updated. I set it so that I would know if there were any updates on it a month ago, and recently undid that, and apparently it considered that enough of a change to pop up as modified, really you can probably ignore it, this was from a month ago and probably isn't even a problem anymore. |
