Description | I understand that this probably happens because the arks are considered transports, however, it's extremely annoying to keep babysitting the ark and bringing it close to the targets, so that it can shoot. Instead of making all transports ignore the pursuit mode, make it so only the unarmed transports ignore it? | ||||

What flagship movement mode do you have for those fleets? (you can see this by opening up the Fleets tab and clicking on a given fleet type). Try using the "Roam if Instructed" setting. |

That should be the thing to do, yes. The reason it doesn't do that automatically for the Ark/Golem ones is that they are super important and still can be pretty fragile, so we wanted to be very sure that you wanted them to behave that way. Having your Ark suicide in pursuit mode while you're intending it to just be blasting one area of the planet and your other ships popping out of it do the suiciding would be pretty frustrating. Hence the default setting, but option to choose, anyhow. |

I'm terribly sorry, I didn't know about that "roam if instructed" setting and thought it was a bug. |
