Summary | 0022950: Allied ships eat a lot of player's metal
Description | When there waves of allied forces going between two wormholes in a player's system, player's engineers try to repair passing ships. When the number of passing ships is large (a constant, unending wave), this results in huge metal consumption. It is possible to manually stop engineers, but it gets burdesome with dozen of systems. Especially when the systems are attacked by AI requiring repairs (both for player's and allied forces). Is it possible to exclude such passing waves from metal sharing?

FYI there is an option for this, and you can disable it. Under Option - Units - Repair Allied Units. |
Thanks a lot, missed it - lots of pre-game settings :) Two suggestions: 1. allow turning the sharing off when the game is on (or is missed it too...) 2. consider distinguishing passing and participating in (system?) fight allied - it may get tricky though |
It is possible to switch sharing off in game - another option I've missed... |
That setting isn't pre-game. It's changable during the game. |
I'm not sure what you mean by consider "distinguishing passing and participating in (system?) fight allied" |
The requested option already exists |
