Summary | 0022951: Should Intragalatic units out-range turrets?
Description | Something I have noticed during recent games with Fallen Spire or even regular playstyle. In a few cases my well-defended, military planet, got slaughtered by forces that should have had more problems. Then I noticed that Intragalatic units, the very big ones, have all superior range to human turrets. The answer to that is obvious, but it's also a regression in term of making up defences. You can no longer defend anywhere except at a single wormwhole where you must make sure all the enemies comes from. If you don't, a single intragalatic unit can defeat an entire planet no matter how many turrets you have. There are a few turrets that can fight, but not win against that kind of unit. It doesn't help at all that the turrets best against those (ablative, pike, nucleo...) have the 'standard' range that isn't enough to shoot at intragalatic. Thoughts?

Some reductions for when I can put all my stuff in the next release. Some units are just intended to be more like sniper units however, and aren't changed (Chimera for example). |
