Summary0023227: Forcefields don't take damage from AoE attacks if no actual unit is hit by the AoE
DescriptionWhen there's a unit (from where I started to see it, a Dark Spire Phantom with it's Plasma-AoE attack, shooting at an AI Forcefield Guardian I was wondering why it wouldn't take any damage. It sees as if Bubble Forcefields don't let the attack go through to the main unit, but don't take any damage from the AoE attacks either.

I've made a fix locally that I think will solve this (by having the aoe be able to hit anything whose shield overlaps the explosion), but can you give me a save to test this with? It helps me see if I missed something.

Thanks, the plasma explosions worked well in that save. Those shields didn't like it one bit.

For next version:

* AOE shots can now hit any enemy bubble shield overlapping the explosion, rather than only being able to hit the shield if the generator (or something it's protecting) were physically within the explosion.
