Summary0023897: Tech for unusual ships
DescriptionQuite a few ship lines exist with no ability to raise them beyond 2 techs since they only use hull techs - human resistance ships, dyson ships, and dark spire ships. These should have some way to get them to mk 7. Some of these used to use an existing tech type that let them get to mk 7, but this wasn't consistent and many couldn't get that far. Perhaps a special/alien technology should be added for these ships, or they should all be re-assigned to an existing weapons tech.

If this results in them being too strong, that can be handled by rebalancing the individual ship lines.

That would be pretty cool. A niche tech that you wouldn't normally invest in, but given the right ships and resources, it might be worth the cost.

Human Resistance don't have that, but the dyson ones now do. That's in the build about to come out, though, IIRC.

Okay, now between Alien and Expatriate, this is finally done!

* Added a new hull tech type, right under Alien: Expatriate.
** Description: Expatriate hulls are unlikely to be something you encounter at all unless you specifically hack certain factions for them. The ships that benefit may be very similar to your own, but there is a difference. Most humans who are not trapped on a planet are already a part of your war effort, but some groups have refused to fully join for various reasons. Collectively, these are the Expatriates.

* All of the human resistance fighter ships now solely get levels from the Expatriate tech, and not from any other hull or weapon tech types.
** When it comes to any other human-style factions that you can hack to get ships from, we need to make that same adjustment; for all the alien ones, so far we seem to have hit all of them with the Alien tech.

* The Human Resistance Fighter version of the Assault Frigate is now called the Assault Frigate Defender.
