Description | i was playing a DIff 7 vs Diff 8 vs Diff 10 Friendly AI Civil War and noticed something. As you can see the screenshots, the Blue Diff 10 is somehow a mark level below the Orange Diff 7 and Green Diff 8. (Ignore the budget stuff. I had debug tooltips on.) I looked at all the AIP requirements for Mark Level increases for all the Difficulties in the XML, recorded them in Google Sheets, and found this. If you look at the Google Sheet screenshot, there is a downward trend for the AIP required as the Difficulty goes up. Except for Mark 6, where the AIP required is 780 for Diff 9 and then spikes up to 870 for Diff 10. (For comparison, 860 AIP is required to get to Mark 6 for Diff 1). Is it supposed to be like this? | ||||

I think the overall levels should probably be revisited. Just going down 10 AIP for each higher difficulty seems too easy. |

This looks like a pretty large difficulty increase. I think this is good, since we've been adding a number of features that make the game easier |

Yup, that was my thinking as well. Assuming that people are playing remotely conservatively with AIP, this won't have much effect. But one of my goals was getting the AI to mark 3 sooner, and then on the very highest difficulties making mark 7 something that the AI can actually reasonably hit. |
