Description | The flagships wont stay on the location of the last movement command and insist on flying on the edge of planet. See the attached screenshots. After moving the flagships to the locations pointed by either the red or the blue arrows, the flagships will always return to the exact location shown in the second screenshot on top of each other. Game speed does not seem to affect this bug. Nor does holding shift to add movement commands. Enabling attack-move mode or pursuit mode seems to fix this bug as long as either of them is enabled. The location to which the flagships always return seems to be updated by the location where the attack-move and pursuit modes were disabled. Steps to reproduce: 1. Load the save file 2. Move a flagship with attack-move mode DISABLED_and_ pursuit mode DISABLED to another location 3. See how the flagship automatically returns to its original location after reaching the location in step 2 4. Enable attack-move mode OR pursuit mode 5. Move the flagship to another location. See how the flagship stays in the location of the last movement command. 6. Disable the mode enabled in step 4. 7. See how the flagship returns to the location in step 5. after reaching the location in step 6 | ||||

Thanks! * Fixed a bug from the last couple of versions where flagships would often fly off to random-seeming locations. This was them attempting to be "assisters" in a way that was unhelpful, and usually related to claiming units, which they can do from any range when needed. ** This change will prevent something like a repair factory from ever wandering around the planet if you put it in pursuit mode... but we can't really think of cases where it would be desirable for one to do that. They have a long enough range that you tend to want to park them where you want to park them. |
