Description | Crippled regenerator golem still replaces destroyed ships and actually creates more, resulting in ships exceeding the maximum ship line's capacity. <s>After a little more playing after the provided save, I also discovered the crippled regenerator golem seems to repair itself to exit out of crippled status, as it was at half health during another planet attack without ever encountering an engineer or engineering transport.</s> I just noticed the regenerator golem is at half health in the save. I was very confident it was crippled at the time I saved. I'm unsure if it got healed by engineers that might have been destroyed, I notice I am sending a support fleet to the planet but at the moment of the save no engineers had gotten there yet, or if I made a mistake thinking the golem was crippled at the time of it producing over the ship line cap. However, I can say I've observed the regenerator golem producing ships while crippled, after deliberately causing it to be reduced to 1 HP. | ||||

Thanks! * Made the code for regenerator effects a bit more explicit in not being able to work if they are crippled, or remains, or various other things. I think this part was already working fine, but it's good to be sure. ** However, it was definitely possible for the number of ships to be regenerated in excess of the ship cap, probably most likely when there was also a factory producing things at the same time as ships were dying, but really potentially in a variety of cases. These have now been fixed and that should not happen anymore. |
