Description | I'm getting a Troop Accelerator in almost every planet of the Galaxy, some planets even have two of them at the same time. I attached a save with the problem. | ||||

Another map with the same problem. I noticed that it doesn't happen on every map that you generate, only on some. |

I'm not sure if it's related to the fact that there are two Troop Accelerators but on this map I have the Warden and the Hunters stuck doing nothing on the planet "Aka". |

It looks like this bug can happen with other AI structure. In this map there's an Orbital Mass Driver on every planet. |

Is this the AI buying stuff from the Zenith Trader, or is this something that is happening from moment one after mapgen? |

Theres no Zenith Trader, the map is like this from the start. |

I'm not sure but I think that it's happening only with the "Adaptive Moderate" AI. |

I think that I finally realized what it's going on, when the Adaptive AI starts as Turtle or Peace Maker they spawn all these extra units. This might not be a bug if their number is supposed to be this high. |

Turtle and Peace Maker do get a ton of extra defensive structures. I expect this is working as intended. |

The only problem I have with so many Troop Accelerator is that they increase the AIP if they die and they force you to spend a ton of hacking point to disable them. Maybe Turtle AI should use less of them and more of other AIP free buildings. |

The turtle seeds some additional defensive structures, using the TurtleSpecialSpawn tag. It looks like only the Troop Accelerator has that tag, so it probably needs to be added to other structures so it's less over the top |

Thanks! * Turtle AI types now have a special version of the Troop Accelerator that they can seed that causes no AIP when it dies. ** This also prevents the adaptive AI from just causing tons of AIP that you would have to take whenever it cycles through the Turtle type. ** The description on this is updated to note this, in much the same way that the Zenith Trader version of the troop accelerator is. ** For now, this is still the only type of special structure seeded by the turtle type, but it will no longer be so dire when it happens. * Peacemaker AIs are seeding tons of Orbital Mass Drivers, which was by design, but seemed confusing especially with adaptive AI types. ** Now they are seeding Peacemaker Mass Drivers instead, which have half the durability in exchange for their prevalence. * The Fortress Baron now seeds a special Baron Fortress that is weaker and has a unique name. ** The fortresses purchased from the Zenith Trader are also now weaker and have a unique name. ** Same with the black hole machines for the one-way doormaster. |
