Description | Occasionally I go back to old saves to see what happens if I do things differently. Often I do this after winning. My issue is that doing this can lead to a very different scenario but it can't be separated from the original campaign in the save structure. All the saves stay in the same campaign and old autosaves after the point you I revert too get overwritten too. Therefore it would be useful on the save screen to have the option to place the save in a new campaign. | ||||

This seems like a bunch of work for very low ROI. I suggest you just use a different naming convention for save games on your alternate history. |

I would also suggest the possibility of just copying and renaming your save folder in the directory structure for this kind of edge case. Then you can do as you want with the renamed one. |

I did a quick way, as a command: * rename campaign,[New Name] ** '''Rename the current campaign''' Whatever you enter after the comma -- including spaces and capitalization -- will be the new name of the campaign. ** It helpfully removes any starting spaces you might have added in there, and any invalid characters become underscores. ** Example usage: *** cmd:renamecampaign, My New Campaign Name *** This example would make any further saves go in the campaign folder "My New Campaign Name".
