Summary | 0002583: group move speed weirdness
Description | When I try to group a fast ship, like a Scout Starship with some regular ships and try to group-move them on a player-owned planet, the fast ship gets left behind. If I look at the tooltip on the Scout Starship, it will say something like 'Speed Down to 76'. I have seen this on all 3 game speeds, but only on player-owned planets, not enemy planets. Steps to replicate: Construct a fighter. Construct a Scout Starship. Select both and group-move them somewhere on your planet.

This seems to be caused by the speed boosting effects of command stations in friendly systems. The Scout Starship appears to not take the speed boost into affect when it decides what speed it should be moving at to stay with the group. It picks the right speed it just doesn't double it & thus moves at half the speed of the group. Also on it's tool tip it doesn't show "Speed up to: xxx" so it doesn't seem to acknoledge the speed boosting effects of friendly command stations at all. |

Just noticed this also affects Colony Ships. They're not being speed boosted on friendly systems either. |
