I see your point, but I also worry greatly about confusion and people missing huge amounts of features. Left click is also used for the primary function of any button, and for the fleets the primary function is the fleet window. If you had to hover over a tooltip to even discover that there WAS a fleet menu, I think that this would be very disastrous. Selecting the fleet at all was a secondary afterthought that I added to the buttons well after these buttons existed at all. To my mind, that's a nice little handy shortcut, but it's not why these buttons exist. |
