Description | See discussion on discord here: https://discord.com/channels/240637654717300736/242012213580136448/983745713517264897 My personal thought is that it would be nice if they started at mk 3, rather than mk5, but with their current starting stats. Their descendants don't need to change. My reasoning for this is that they are the worst forcefield option, by far, while being one of the most expensive, and one of the reasons is that they scale so badly with investment in their techlines due to coming in at the end of strikecraft scaling. And their damage is terrible compared to almost every other FRS option as well, most of which also have significant other bonuses, even discounting the units with HA-only fleet boosts. I think they would still be near unusable with this change, but... baby steps. | ||||

Lowering the mark level only makes it worse. The scaling is the same, you'd just have to pay more to get back to where they were. You don't get additional scaling out of starting at a lower mark level because the scaling is fixed and applied based on what the current mark level is. |

This is a dead pick at the moment. It can't compete with its alternatives or even a frigate you could have started the game with for free / ars hacked for. Recommend starting by exactly copying forcefield frigates stats and progression then buffing it somehow 15 aip over that. Good luck. |
