Description | When defending with a large batch of Zenith Shredders and a Regen golem, you can eventually amass quite a number of shredders. Even though they die, they're reborn at the golem. Combine that with the spawning behavior, and you can amass quite a few shredders. Then throw a few hundred to the planet behind once the threat is over, lower the BP threshold, and repeat. Perhaps the Regen golem should not respawn shredders? Perhaps the shredders should (if they do not already) respawn without any accumulated BP? Check my shredder count at Ulachow and Aoscen in the attached game. Then compare what's in each fortress world to the build cap. I tend to pick shredders as my bonus for this very reason. You can "farm" shredders just fine without the golem. The golem just makes a nice safety net. I think the increase in BP needed to spawn should count ALL viral shredders (of the current mk) over ship cap, not just the ones on the current planet. That should help to make current farming techniques less ridiculous. |

I had a nice farm of thousands in a game without a regen golem some time ago, just parked a few hundred shredders on a wormhole and regularly removed the excess. |
