Description | TLDR: people feel like larger buildings should be giving bigger benefits for the various lair types, and I can't really argue with that. We'll work this into suspicion as well later. For now we're just trying to find a general multiplier for each building for each lair type, and the notes on that are below. ------ This is related to the LairTotalBuildingVolumeFullDimensions on the machine lair availability. The short version is: some buildings provide more of that than others, for purposes of various lair types. The number is... some number. Task 1: figure out what the average is for all of the buildings that use a certain lair type, and what the minimum and maximum range is for them. Task 2: figure out what the "productivity multiplier" is for each one, based on its deviation from said average within its category of that specific lair type So, in other words: this is calculated independently for factories, deployment hubs, machine lairs, and biolabs. We're looking to see what the average LairTotalBuildingVolumeFullDimensions is in each category, and then what the deviation is above/below average in the various buildings of that category. Whatever the maximum deviance upwards is from the average, I would say it should give at most 5x the normal baseline quality. So if one building gives 6x the floorspace of the average, just cap that as being 5x the benefit. For deviance downwards, I think we should go no lower than 0.25 of the average. So if something gives 10% of the average, just cap it at 25%. | ||||
