| Description | Whenever a notification pops up, it blocks the new display of Mental Energy and AP until they are all dismissed (in the radial menu in the corner).
I don't know if this is intentional, but sometimes I like to leave all notifications until I'm done my current actions, and having AP/ME suddenly unavailable makes resuming what I was doing annoying if I need to know that information right away.
If the intent is to nudge the player to view notifications first, I'd argue that that order of operations does not matter as you're forced to go through them anyway before going to the next turn, so you can leave it up to the player to decide when they should view them.
(You can get around this by selecting a unit, where both ME and unit AP are visible above the action bar, but if you're in the build menu, you can't see the current ME anywhere while notifications are pending) |
