Description | The glowing 'intent' symbol above enemy combat units that tells you vaguely what they are and what they're doing is useful. The glowing AP left / no AP left symbol above friendly units is also useful. However, they are not very large. In combat view specifically, these could do with being larger, perhaps 2x or even 3x larger than they currently are, to make them easy to spot at a glance. The colour coding of these is also a little vague. Enemies are typically orange, but the "I have AP left" yellow diamond is a little too close to orange to be easy to spot. Would it conflict with anything if it were made it a greenish colour? Something that was further away from the orange colour would be good I feel. White might also be an alternative. | ||||

Making these larger is a good idea. As far as colors go, there's all sorts of colors that are used, and there's not a way to make that consistent entirely without causing other issues. |

Most of the enemy intents are orange, yellow or red, and all? of your units that still have AP are yellow. If those two can be moved further apart from each other on the colour wheel, I haven't yet seen anything else that would have an issue, and it would improve differentiation in the most common cases. You could also intentionally reserve white or some other fairly neutral colour for "friendly units with AP", maybe? |
