Summary | 0003152: Scoutless ship count via "alert when # enemy units present"
Description | 1. Start a new game. 2. Pause before the first game tick, so that the resource counts are still broken. 3. Open the CTRLS window and move to Planet-Specific. 4. Note that none of your planets are selected. 5. Set "Alert When # Enemy Units Present" to 1. 6. Save and close the CTRLS window. 7. Allow the game to run for a tick. 8. An arbitrary planet now shows the number of enemy units present, even if you have yet to scout it. Example save attached.

lol, I don't see the point of this. If you want to know what's on an enemy planet without having to scout it, why don't you just put the setting on "Complete Visibility" before starting a game instead of "full fog of war" ? I'm sure that the steps listed above are not something that is supposed to happen, but since we already have the option to manually select this BEFORE the start of a game, I don't see this as a bug that needs to be fixed. |

An easy workaround would be to prevent pausing until tick 1. |
