I'll be curious to hear the verdict on this one, just out of curiosity after all that discussion on the forum.

(I'm still slightly paranoid it's going to be "um, your spider turrets shot out their engines" or something.)

if my assumption correct meaning engine dead units have 1 speed or 2 meaning they slowly move around this means that engines damage have nothing to do with it but that fact that ships are staying in one spot

True true. They're definitely in 'wait' mode. Does not smell right that they stay twiddling their thumbs in wait mode even after I come back in and start shooting, though. :)

To my knowledge (and Toranth's confirmation) this was fixed by 6.042 (probably 6.028) :)
