Summary | 0003826: Follow/escort order
Description | As per most RTS games, you could incorporate a follow/escort command. If one of your units right clicks on another, it will follow that unit around... if you wanted to get fancy, you could have right-click-follow be akin to regular right-click-move, and X-right-click-follow be 'escort', where it will generally follow the unit, but have freedom in moving to engage enemies. I wouldn't think this would be terribly hard to implement, but is there any demand for it? Personally, I remember missing it for my first half dozen games, and haven't thought about it much since. I do suspect it would get frequently used if added, though.

This would be good command for you to only be able to use on extrema survivability ships like golems and star ships and able to have your factory be able to follow them with rally. this could be Cntrl where you say that Use Large Mobile Fleet as rally post where star ships and golems will get reinforced when they attacking meaning less need to control entire fleet |

that reminds me of another niggling issue to add... |

I would like this feature. It would save me from microing my Translocators to follow my Artillery Golem (which seems to work well :) ). |
