Summary0004090: Consciousness shard scarcity due to 10 shard settlement payments
DescriptionI like the macro game, and having multiple settlements to mess around with, but the 10 per-turn per-settlement payment is eating into my dwindling stockpile. I do believe Keith was the one mentioned as the 4X guy, and was thinking of adding in a building to generate shards. I'd love to have that building in soon!

It's not actually supposed to be per-settlement-per-turn, I'll look into that.

Hmm. I've found two settlements, and I only lose ten per turn.

EDIT: Or rather, I've found one, so I have two settlements available.

Have you actually entered the second settlement? Basically unless you've physically walked in that region it doesn't count as a settlement you can manage or that consumes food, etc. End-turn is still supposed to only cost 10 world-wide, though.

I was also suggesting that the shard generation building would be a good idea for sooner than later, because the consciousness shards you get in the adventure are a linear number, versus if the costs are escalating in the macrogame then pretty soon you can't play.

Unless the costs don't escalate by design at all, which I'm not clear on.

Yeah, I've entered both settlements, so I have both available for both strategic and settlement mode.

Let me check again, but I have three settlements, each with their own separate stockpiles of shards. When I advanced the macro-game turn, 10 was deducted from each settlement, or so I thought.

Well, maybe not. I could have sworn that is what happened, but I just tested it and it didn't do it. Only the settlement currently selected changed.

Which is weird, because when I tested I did the same thing, which is remember how much was in one town, move to another, advance the turn, then go back.

For now, I guess this is to be closed as an issue. Whoops!

Though I would like a similar building anyway. Maybe just make it a bit high-level ;)
