DescriptionHello all,

I just had a weird bug... I had a message telling me I could keep on playing but the first error will lead me to other errors in the game... I better had to log out and restart the game.

I search in the console the first mistake, but it was quite unclear (undhandled exception), and coming repeatingly.

You will find the log enclosed.

What I did : I was playing still in my first area (level 1), and I was on the last screen (80% visited, 100% scouted so I guess it was the last zone). There I noticed the enemies were much stronger than before. I even saw a dragon there... I was about to kill them though so I simply think those were the bosses of the area. I saw a building, and went inside. There, surprise ! I saw something like in the rooms with the bomb on it. Just disaffected room. A little bit up there was a ventilation door. I jump to that one, and when I entered it, the error was triggered.

I noticed as well on the minimap on the lower right that it was just one block large on all its height (I think I saw 3 or 4, no more) There was a blue color and a yellow color flashing. I tried to take a screenshot, but the shift key was assigned in game and I could not take any. Shame...

And for the system I'm on, I didn't changed since AI Wars : still on my Mac 10.7.1

I cannot take screenshots now, but what I can do is this : I can send you somewhere the world and the save game. I tried to continue the game, and surprise, the building generation was the same and in the weird room. So, if you want to see what happens, I can give the save game as it is totally reproducible. It is quite annoying since I spent a good amount of time already on this one, and I cannot continue the adventure for the moment... Or I need to start it all over again... But if it helps you finding the bug, I'll just be patient.

Ok, I remapped the keys so I could take a screenshot. The first screenshot I sent is a screenshot of the area after having tried to "enter" the ventilation rail up at the door.
The second one is before triggering the bug but with some lights so you can judge the level generated. I avoyed taking a screenshot of the exterior of the building... Basically, I enter the building and the screenshots are what is inside the building. There is no hallway as in all other buildings. I enter, and I'm in that one, and cannot go any further.

A final update on this one. I managed to find a way out. Well, I could go out of the building, but found out that if I took the second door for this building it was all ok. So I managed to continue playing this awesome game (yes, I had hard time starting it, but the more I play, the more I like it)...

Anyway, even if I can go further, I think that this ventilation door is somehow bugged anyway.

If requested I can find back the place and make the save in that very room.

For 0.504:

* Put in some logic to prevent a crash when collision checks apparently were trying to run in an invalid chunk.

Ok, back home. What do you need for the save ? I'm going to that place right now, and will save in that very room

Save game (or I hope that this is the save game). I took the world folder, took my actual world and zipped it all... I hope that this is the save game. If not, feel free to ask ! To reproduce it, just jump up to the ventilation and try entering it. It will trigger the bug. Now if you leave that room, you'll notice that you are just outside the building.

* Fixed up the game so that when there is an invalid link to a room that does not exist, the game now creates a little "sky box room" that you fall into, rather than just crashing and dying.
** These invalid links should never be seeding anymore anyway -- that was fixed in a prior version -- but for old links that were created in that fashion this now prevents the crash.
