Summary | 0000421: An option to disable auto-FRD on a planet
Description | The summary says the most of it, really. At times, you don't want to put the ships on a specific planet into auto-FRD, but you do want it on the other planets (for instance, a planet with long-range defenses a'la spider turrets and an ion cannon. Why send in ships to be slaughtered by an enemy that can be whittled down at no cost?).

There's bound to be a suggestion of mine ported over from the forum at some point which suggests a similar thing: single planet suppression controls. For me, it was wanting to tailor a planet to build fewer engineers due to its position way behind the front lines which led me to suggest it; but your idea is as good, if not better! |

MEGA ZOMBIE NECRO! An interesting "workaround" has been added by allowing per control group setting to override auto-FRD and some other of the "auto stance" stuff. Still, it would be nice to have per planet versions of this as well, especially for those "special purpose" planets you have something specific loop-building on. |
