I think that part of this was the set-up of the tower. But, there may be room for improvement here. |

Josh -- does it still do this? There's nothing in a rare commodity tower, or anything to do with espers, that should cause anything remotely like that on any computer. However, there are some disk accesses going on, so if something in the background was using a lot of disk IO that can make the game do something like this. For instance, when Jungle Disk is indexing my drive in the background, all other disk read times go up something like 10x. |

It only happened the one time, and I've been though a couple more towers, so it's probable that I just happened to be running something that slowed it up. |
