| Description | At the moment common ingredients display their information in a different manner to arcane ingredients and gems. I think it would be helpful if they were changed to the same format as arcane ingredients. for example Coral currently displays "Used for Crafting Spellgems. Coral can be found in coral outcrops in oceans or ocean shallows" instead it should be something of the order of "Used for Crafting Spellgems. Coral can be harvested from resource nodes Only found in these regions: Oceans, Ocean Shallows" Not only does this look better, but for many of the resources this would also be an opportunity to make the descriptions of where to find them a bit less vague, cherrys claim to be found "....in other areas", similarly plums claim to be found in "....other temperate areas" | ||||

Coral outcrops are literally the thing you bust to find them. And you find those at random in the oceans or ocean shallows (current bug accepting). The ones that are vague about "other temperate areas" and so forth are vague... because we can't actually programmatically know! The way that the walnut trees or cherry trees are seeded is based on xml files, not hardcoded into the game. So we can't really know where they would seed without enumerating all the xml files. Anyway, it's the way it is for good reason; the common ingredients aren't as rigidly defined where they can be found as the arcane ones, which are extremely rigidly defined and so we can be very specific. |
