Summary0007300: Setting up Windshield Crashes to Desktop
DescriptionEvery time you go to to set up the Windshield (on the broken one, and hitting E to set it up) you now crash completely to the desktop. I've gotten an error message a couple times, but I didn't get it this last time to find out.

I have not tried it single player to see if it happens there, but it has happened the last 3 Windshields I have set up. The server stays, but my Game Client crashes.

I just tested building a windshelter in singleplayer and in multiplayer and it worked as expected in both cases. Can you get me a copy of the world you were playing in so I can try to reproduce the error in the environment it happened in?

Thanks :)

Alright. What exact folder/file would you need for this?

Edit: Went in and I'm assuming that the .dat file is all you need?

I will test it in single player myself here to see if it is also happening there, but it just happens whenever I was in multiplayer. I'd go to "press E to set it up" and then I'd crash, come back, and it would be set up and I'd go into it to go back to the map.

Alright. I unintentionally uninstalled the game, and since reinstalling, I am having no issues with the Windshields.

However, there is something for some reason that will cause this issue to happen. I am unsure of how to reproduce the effect, but somewhere inside the game, it still exists.

I actually would have needed the entire world folder (zipped up) to have a chance of reproducing it. I agree that there's still something in the game leading to this but there's just not time for me to keep trying different scenarios that might possibly reveal the bug. If someone else hits it (or you hit it again), please either reopen this issue or start another :)
