To repeat what I said earlier: I can confirm this bug and reproduce it with mild ease. A pretty reliable way to reproduce it is to let go of right and hit left on the same frame, or vice versa. |

This may be an artifact from an intended game feature gone wrong. It may have been designed that if you double tap the other direction you continue going in that direction. Hear me out on this, I know you aren't double tapping. Here is what may be happening, you press left slightly before you release right. It initially registers left, then registers that you released right, now it registers left again since it's still pressed. This would only work within a narrow window of time. If you press left too soon before you press right, you wouldn't get the double tap effect. The only issue with this theory I can see is that you do not hear the spell activation again. This could be intended in the programming, or it could just mean that this is an unintended feature. I don't know how the programming handles this reactivation of this spell in a new direction. |
