| Description | I understand that the new Zenith and Spire starship lines probably have radar dampening of the same magnitude as the fleet ship lines because they were sort of copied over, but are they really appropriate? This is an honest question, not a request for removal of the dampening. Just want to open it up for discussion. Though, I could see the Spire starship line losing its dampening (or increasing the radar dampening range/reducing the dampening effectiveness) in return for even more firepower. Not sure about the Zenith starship line, seeing as it is a moderately defensive oriented starship line. Maybe it can stay for it. | ||||

I want to say I'm opposed to changing this, but the way it's phrased makes it so I can't be sure if "strong rejection" will be interpreted as, "don't change this," or, "I don't think these ships should have radar dampening." |

I'm saying that it should re-reviewed based on the fact that now they are 3 different ship lines with different intended roles. Is radar dampening really appropriate for all of them? Although I would be inclined to say no for the Spire but yes to the other two, I left it an open ended question on purpose. It may very well be that nothing needs to change. Or maybe all 3 can keep their dampening, but only dampening ranges need to be adjusted. Or some other possibility. |
