Summary0009202: Modular Fort management
DescriptionCan the "Apply to Ship(s)" functionality be applied to Modular Forts?

It gets expensive to "upgrade" the modules for your fort if you happen to upgrade turrets piecemeal. Scrap it, rebuild it, and build in your new modules. Pretty expensive to upgrade the shield module.

So you can't zoom in on the fort, click on the individual modules, and scrap them? That works for every other modular structure in the game.

True. However, considering how wonky click selecting has been (for me at least),
I thought it would be a nice addition since it is an expensive piece.

Fair enough.

1) Select the fort (or forts, if they're all the same type)
2) Press Ctrl+M (or open the context menu by alt-right-click and select View Ship Modules) to bring up the ship-design window
3) Set up the modules the way you want (can click a previously saved design for this)
4) Click Apply To Ship(s)
5) Confirm
6) Done :)

Or not?

That works.

Yea, the main issue is that I'd never anticipated someone using CTRLS+Ship-design to use the apply-to-ships use case. It's existed for over a year and a half (mainly for the Fallen Spire stuff) and I think this is the first time I've run into someone trying to do that :)

But it's reasonable, and I'll try to make it work when I get a chance.

:) If there is a UI element I'll use it in most cases. If I had to remember all the hotkeys for every game I actively play :(.
