Summary0009203: Snake map redo
Descriptionright now if I try and play a high planet game with the snake map setting it is way to hard to see the pathway of planets.
Maybe you can change it and some other maps like spokes, tree, vine etc so that it will spawn the planets in a position where the connections are not impossible to see?

I know that you can change it in game, but doing that for over 80 planets take forever and is really annoying.

Agreed, and this sort of nice "preplacing" of layout should be done for the other trivially planar map types (spokes, tree, etc)

I'm fine with things like simple and lattice not being generated as nice. Those maps are not always assured to have a nice layout.

Well, I commented on it, if that counts for anything. ;)

You can change the placing in game? How and would that work for nebula? Would radically speed up my testing of champions.

Edit- Sorry, I don't play Snake, I usually on X, Maze, Circles, or the new Clusters

@ Zane Wolfe
Make sure you have no units selected. Go to the galaxy view. Press Alt+right click. Click Galaxy Layout. Select My Layout. Now, to move planets hold shift, and you can pick them up with left click. Nebulae can be moved this way as well.

I think I get it, cant test now as I am not home, but this only affects things visually. So I cant say, move nebulas closer to my home systems to get at them faster. Am I right?

Edit- Thank you. Never did get around to testing it. Pity it doesnt let me test champs faster.

Yes, this is just an appearance thing. It has no effect on gameplay. You just don't go insane looking at the galaxy map :) .
